                               RESOLUTION NO. 19616
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE DOWNTOWN
                   AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON
                   MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1992 FOR THE OPENING
                   CEREMONIES FOR PHASE V OF THE TENNESSEE
                   RIVERPARK.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Riverside Drive from Chestnut Street to 
Mabel
       Street, the southbound ramp to Riverside Drive from the Veterans
       Bridge, the northbound curblane of Chestnut Street between Second 

       Street and Riverside Drive from 11:45 A.M. to 2:15 P.M. on 
Monday,
       October 19, 1992, for the opening ceremonies for Phase V of the
       Tennessee Riverpark under the sponsorship of the River City
       Company.  The City of Chattanooga will provide, set out and pick
       up all flasher barricades and traffic control signs in accordance 

       with the traffic control plan attached hereto.  The sponsor shall 

       provide at all times an access lane for emergency vehicles.
